Entry 36: Carte-blanche

Entry 36: Article 19 of the Constitution of India is not a carte-blanche enabling any citizen to exercise a fundamental right so as to encroach upon similar rights guaranteed to other citizens.
Explanation in simple language:
Article 19 of the Constitution of India doesn’t entitle a citizen to exercise the fundamental rights in such a way that intrude the same  rights conferred to other citizens by the same article.


Carte blanche: complete freedom to act as one wishes.
